Jung von Matt SPREE is looking for a Junior Data Analyst (d/f/m) to strengthen our analytics and reporting capabilities. We are seeking a detail-oriented and curious individual with a passion for social media, digital marketing, and data-driven insights.
Your Role
As a Junior Data Analyst (d/f/m), you will support our Social Media, Strategy and Project Management teams by transforming data into meaningful insights. You will help monitor campaign performance, maintain reporting standards and ensure that our clients receive accurate, actionable, and visually compelling performance reports.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and deliver recurring social media performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and campaign-specific).
- Collect, validate, and consolidate data from social media platforms including Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
- Maintain reporting templates and dashboards to ensure accurate and timely delivery of insights.
- Monitor key social media KPIs such as reach, impressions, engagement, video views, follower growth, and content performance.
- Analyze content and campaign performance and identify trends, opportunities, and anomalies.
- Support Social Media and Project Management teams with ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across all reporting deliverables.
- Create clear visualizations and presentations that effectively communicate performance results to internal teams and clients.
- Stay up to date with platform developments and changes that may impact reporting methodologies.
- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent PowerPoint or Keynote presentation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting platforms such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Analytics, Sprinklr, Emplifi, Meltwater, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of social media and digital marketing KPIs.
- Ability to translate data into clear visualizations and compelling stories.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
- Experience with dashboarding or data visualization tools.
- Previous internship or first experience in digital marketing, analytics, or reporting.
- Native-level German language skills (written and spoken) are required for this role.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
