Jung von Matt NECKAR is looking for a Senior Media Strategist (d/f/m).
You bring extensive experience in media strategy and a strong passion for developing data-driven, creative media approaches that truly move audiences? As our Senior Media Strategist (d/f/m), you will lead the strategic planning, execution and optimisation of integrated media campaigns across channels. You combine analytical excellence with a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape and are able to translate complex insights into clear strategic recommendations. As a trusted sparring partner for clients and internal teams, you work closely with creatives and stakeholders to turn ambitious ideas into impactful communication. You have a very good command of German and English, which you use confidently in presentations, client consulting and cross-functional collaboration.
Your tasks:
- Lead the development of integrated cross-channel media strategies and provide strategic media guidance throughout the creative development process
- Identify, evaluate and champion emerging channels, platforms and media opportunities with strong business and growth potential
- Conduct and interpret complex audience, market and competitive analyses to uncover strategic opportunities and drive client growth
- Develop holistic, data-driven media strategies with clear KPI frameworks and measurement approaches
- Take ownership of media planning, budgeting, channel allocation and implementation across campaigns and clients
- Drive continuous campaign optimisation through advanced performance analysis and translate findings into strategic recommendations
- Act as a trusted advisor for internal teams and clients, presenting recommendations and strategic rationale with confidence
What you score with:
- Several years of experience in media strategy, media planning or performance marketing within an agency, consultancy or in-house environment
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful data-driven media strategies across multiple channels
- Deep understanding of the current media ecosystem, consumer behaviour and emerging industry developments
- Strong analytical capabilities and extensive experience translating data into actionable business and communication strategies
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to make complex topics accessible and persuasive
- Strategic mindset paired with commercial understanding and a strong focus on measurable outcomes
- Confidence in challenging established thinking and driving innovation through new approaches and perspectives
