Position
As an ideal Senior Art Director (d/f/m) you have strong motion design skills to bring bold, thumb-stopping social media campaigns to life. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, think in big ideas as well as in snappy formats, and know how to adapt creative visions into motion-first assets, this role puts you at the creative heart of impactful social storytelling.
You’ll craft integrated creative concepts, develop visuals and copy across platforms, and push boundaries on TikTok, Instagram, and beyond — always with motion as a core component.
Your tasks:
- Creative Concept Development:
you’ll develop creative concepts for social-first campaigns — from bold hero ideas to snackable always-on formats. Your ideas will work across the entire funnel, balancing platform best practices with brand objectives. - Motion-First Crafting:
As motion experts, you’ll be responsible for translating creative concepts into dynamic moving images — whether through animations, edits, or motion-enhanced assets that grab attention in the first second. You’ll work closely with editors and digital creators to ensure seamless execution. - Platform-Native Storytelling:
You’ll design & write with platforms in mind, creating content that feels natural to TikTok, Instagram, and other emerging channels — from snappy captions to motion-led formats that fit native user behavior. - Trend Spotting & Creative Evolution:
You’re always on top of creative and cultural trends, integrating new visual styles, editing techniques, and narrative approaches into your concepts to keep clients ahead of the curve. - Collaborative Workflows:
You’ll work hand-in-hand with strategy, accounts, and production teams to ensure creative visions are feasible, budget-friendly, and aligned with brand strategy — while leaving room for creative surprises. - AI-Enhanced Creativity:
You’re open to integrating AI tools into your creative process — from ideation support to AI-enhanced motion design — to increase efficiency and explore new creative possibilities.
What you score with:
- Proven experience as a creative with a focus on social-first and motion-driven campaigns
- Excellent understanding of social platforms, their creative possibilities, and user behavior (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects or Premiere Pro) and a good eye for dynamic storytelling
- Strong conceptual skills & platform-specific writing experience, from short copy to engaging CTAs
- Excellent design sense and the ability to direct visually and motion-wise
- Eagerness to experiment with AI tools to elevate creative output
- Fluent in German and English
