Position
As the ideal Account Director (d/f/m), you are both strategist and relationship builder. You maintain a firm grasp of the saddle, demonstrate a deep understanding of customers, markets and brands and know how to successfully steer a large, complex brand through fast-changing communication environments. You combine an entrepreneurial mindset with creative excellence and operational clarity.
Your tasks:
- Advises clients on strategic, creative, and business decisions
- Identifies opportunities for account growth
- Takes full responsibility for projects and overall account performance
- Manages budgeting, forecasting and profitability
- Leads scope, contract and pricing negotiations
- Responsible for training, developing and mentoring the account team
- Identifies talent within the team and supports career development
- Ensures efficient workflows, resource planning and performance standards
- Provides final oversight and approval for deliverables, presentations and strategic work
- Manages escalations and ensures smooth day-to-day operations
- Maintains an effective flow of information to the Client Service Director / Management
- Ensures integrated communication and alignment across all disciplines
- Native German speaker with fluent English skills required
